We were there for a bicycle event. We had no problems with checking in. The staff was most helpful and the internet was working great. The room was very clean. The hotel is centrally located and we walked to restaurants. The breakfast was sufficient and we had a nice stay.
Made a telephone reservation on a Friday. Drove four hours to hotel only to find out that the reservation clerk remembered the reservation but did not reserve room. Took 45 minutes to find out. Room clerk keep saying this was her second day. Many guests were calling to complain that the Wireless Internet was not working. No manager available. Worst experience I've had in a motel in years.
We had to cancel our reservations. The customer service people were awful, and didn't speak good enough English for me to ask any questions. Plus I was charges $25 cancellation fee, and it was explained differntly by each person I spoke to.
I just wanted to say that we passed through on our way to the coast and the ladie at the desk was so polite and nice. Very pleasent to work with and even helped with my mom carry her luggage to her room. She was the nicest ladie on our trip to give service and comfort to a traveling journalist and his family. To her which I don't remember her name I say thank you and to Ramada Inn for hiring such a friendly ladie.
