It is within walking distance to so many places in Sacramento. I wasn't staying in the room all the time, so I wasn't worried about all the amenities. I know it is a budget hotel but that's OK. I think it is safe. The people who work there are nice, so that helps.

The main advantage is that it is close to Downtown Sac, and within walking distance (20-25 min) to Old Sac. There's also a Westfield shopping mall nearby, which feels safer to walk through, instead of the seedier downtown streets at night.

We did not enjoy our stay at all. The room was dirty, the sheets had not been changed and the carpet had not been vaccumed. We could see outside through an opening where the airconditioner was placed in the wall. We couldn't wait to leave and we will never go back.

we were looking for a cheap place to stay near midtown so we could hang out with friends and take cabs easily to parties and clubs on halloween. this was the best deal for that! there were many other young couples in halloween costumes staying in the hotel that night so it was kind of festive. this is a much better place to stay than any of the similar priced (and higher priced) hotels/motels in west sacramento. those are truly scary!
