Fine for economy minded travelerThis was a decent place to stay and the lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. There is a great breakfast place 2 blocks towards the college that also has some great deserts. Bad facilities, rude serviceI have been staying with travel lodge since the mid 1950’s. My recent stay in Berkeley was very unpleasant. The room was just barely acceptable, the carpet was very dirty. This alone we could live with. But, after we checked in I could not phone out (dialing 9 gave me a busy tone). I phoned the office and ask them to unblock it.
