The night staff was friendly enough, but there was no smoke detector in our room, our toilet was not securely bolted to the floor, our bedside lamps did not work, and there was a strange smell coming out of the vent outside our door. When I brought up these things with the morning desk clerk, he looked annoyed. No apologies or explanations. I'm thinking that I'll stay elsewhere next time.
