This is a very quaint and charming place to stay. The gardens are beautiful!! The Inn Keeper added to the atmosphere, she was the eptiomy of the White Rabbit.
We felt very welcome.
Breakfast was fun and quite good.
We stayed in Mome Rath. Huge Bed. Jacuzzi in the room.
Must stay at least two nights, to get the full effect.

Can Not Wait To Go BACK!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/01/07
I must comment on the Trustworthy Comment. I am sure that this couple stayed at the Jabberwock at the same time my husband and I were there. I must say the new owners (Dawn and John) bent over backwards for this couple. Dawn seemed very stressed that there was nothing she could do to appease these complainers. We found the new owners Dawn and ...

Loved It!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/25/07
Wow - I have to say that we were booked for this last weekend and when I read the last review about that guest's bad experience, I was really nervous! Please rest assured that The Jabberwock is a lovely place to stay. Our room was cozy and the food was excellent. "Dawn" and John (the new owners), were attentive to every detail. Our stay could not have been nicer. Don't hesitate to book. You won't be disappointed!

Lovely comfortable retreat!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/13/06
We loved the Jabberwock! We had an attic room that was cozy with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! The bedding was down with adjustable firmness in the mattress. Breakfast was delicious and filling and the sherry hour really made our day complete. The people there make the Jabberwock a destination vacation for us. They made dinner reservations for us which was great because we got the best table, and just made us feel like family!
This was a very nice B&B. Breakfast was excellent and the dinner recommendations were on point. We were welcomed instantly. The cookies in the evening were delicious also. However, like another reviewer, we were not happy with the bed. It was a select comfort bed but I found it awkward to have a dent in the middle of the bed where to the two ...

Homey with Elegance
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/04/05
Right from the start you feel at home. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean, and grounds were beautiful. Breakfast was amazing (my mom is still talking about it & trying to make the wonderful juice concoction). Monterey, Pacific Grove, and Carmel are within easy access from Jabberwock. Joan makes your stay even more enticing and relaxing. I would definitely stay at Jabberwock again.

Nice little place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/25/05
Good location with unique rooms and some great views. Horrible bed in their main room with a great whirlpool tub and lovely other furniture. We didn't eat any of the breakfasts we paid for since they stop serving at 10am and we are night people, but the wine and cheese in the early evening is nice and the sitting areas are as well. Not a bad deal, but needs some touch ups on sevice and beds. I would stay there agian with a different room.

As the other reviewer said, charming but not overdone. We hopped rooms and they were both wonderful. Extremely helpful with dinner reservations and recommendations. Peaceful garden surrounds the house, very serene.

It was so charming, yet not country or overdone. It was a beautiful, whimsical place. Very peaceful and romantic.
