We loved this place. Had 2 rooms that connected, had TV, WIFi, Air Cond.,a pool,.a coffee maker w/coffee,microwave, mini-frig. Clean nice just out of town location. I was very satisfied.

If you like the feel of a route 66 motel, Motherload is the place. We like the owners and they work very hard to keep everything running smoothly. It's clean, quite and off the road from the a lot of traffic. We go every year for a week.

We highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Placerville! It is tucked away in the pine trees, just off Hwy 50. VERY quiet, and more importantly, VERY CLEAN! Prices were excellent! The area was beautifully disigned. The rooms were great. There was also a pool and a basketball court. Before i went to the motel i read a couple of the reviews, one stated that there was black mold, the refrigerator was not cold enough, That is wrong the refrigerator was really cold you just neede to turn the nob to the "cold" setting ...

Service was prompt and friendly. Room was very comfortable and very clean. TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker all ready to go, nice air conditioning system. The location was great as it is far enough out of downtown to avoid traffic noise and at its location the freeway is a raised structure so you really can't hear the freeway at all. Thin walls, but the management has no problems with addressing noisy neighbor issues.

There was black mold in the bathroom. There were holes in the blanket/bedspread. Refrigerator was not cold enough to keep anything. Prices in ad are misleading.
