Just to clarify....the Waring Road Good Nite Inn...it is no where near strip clubs. There really isnt anything near it...kinda residential on one side and the I-8 on the other. There is another one and it is near the "gentelemens" clubs but not this one. No Ladies around.

This place is fairly easy to find...stayed there a few years ago and just reciently. Both times, rooms were not ready. Had to wait. Beds were VERY soft and slept good. As soon as I exited my rent a car I was propositioned....biggest strip club I've ever seen next door and shady people roaming the parking lot. I had to check in at a movie ticket like grated window. The location is horrible for those who looking for a place to relax and see the sites of San Diego. Public Transportation is not an option, no convenience stores and only one restaurant (Italian)in walking distance. The hotel is within spitting distance from a major freeway.
Truckers might enjoy this as an overnight stay because plenty of parking is available.

I love that it is right beside Albie's Beef Inn which is a quirky little syeakhouse/ piano bar with fabulous grub.
Otherwise it is centrally located to a lot of great spots in San Diego.

The room was nice, quiet and the front desk service was excellent.

filthy, smelly, gauze thin yellow sheets. every piece of furniture was old, broke, crushed lamp shade. sickly carpet. several holes in filthy walls. gross neighbor hood, strip bars, sex shops, hookers. worst dive since i spent a night in a 3 dollar hotel in casablanca, morrocco. it wasn't even cheap. go to thye comfort in on hotel cir' dr. it was like a 5 star for a few bucks more.

Carpet old, worn, spotted. Some light fixtures not working. Was told they would be fixed but they were not.

Good location. Close to most everything.

Was told by manager that this room was not typical.
