Traveling with a teen and preteen, I really appreciate the good sized room with a microwave and fridge for late nite snacks. It's location is also convenient to the aquarium and fishermen's wharf.

New Hotel! Fully Renovated

The place was just under recent construct and is beauttiful th eonly problem we had was that we asked in addvance for a room for 2 beds and when we got there we changed our room 3 times. Stayed here in July 2006. They say this is a new property, actually it is a old hotel (probably 60's) being refurbished, if you can call it that. Paid in advance by 2 mths for 3 nights. Got home, checked credit card on-line, and the hotel had charged us another $152.00. Called hotel, and they had us as a no-show! Thank god I still had my receipt!

My family stays here two to three times a year. We prefer the Hilton verses most of the other hotels because it offers the most activities to enjoy as a family. You can swim in their pool, play some tennis on their courts, play table tennis, use the fitness room, hot tub and play miniature golf and shuffle board. They also have video games and ...

Weak location, bad rooms, ugly bathrooms, small. Pool is the only good thing, but other than that the hotel is a shame.

OK rooms. Location is so-so. You aren't walking distance to anything. My problem with the Monterey hilton is that the staff has no authority to fix any problems you may have. You get transferred, put on hold and disconnected. The front desk cant help you and they don't seem to want to. Much better options in Monterey.
