We stayed at the Flamingo twice in the past 18 months when visiting family in Santa Rosa. The room was comfortable and clean and a decent size. We ate at the restaurant several times. When we checked in the front desk person had an attitude. We go and look at the room to find that the door opens into the bed. The two beds in the room have saggy mattresses and the carpet has stains. You can barely squeeze into the bathroom. We go back to the front desk and asked the front desk person if they had a better room than that at the ...

Like the spot, go to Santa Rosa twice a month to visit family and have checked out most of the area. Rooms big and clean, suites facing the pool very classy... in a bewitched sort of way (60'S CHIC) Lots of flagstone in design, big heated pool, Jacuzzi average but nice. Make sure you get room not facing Farmers Lane/4th st. Ask for facing pool average cost 129.00 Huge suites for 100 more. Santa Rosa is sorta rough, this is a gem.

I expected a lot more for the price. The rooms are outdated and are really motel-type in style. Very disappointing. The food and layout of the restaurant is good, which is why I did not rate this hotel any lower. Will not return.
