When you pay $200-$300/night for a hotel you expect a little more. We eventually checked out and got better service from the Best Western across the street. FOR A LOT LESS!!! If you want to stay at the resort, don't pick the DISNEYLAND HOTEL.
Last summer, my wife and 2 kids spent one night at this hotel and it was a pretty "memorable" experience. When we got to our room that morning, we noticed roaches on the drapes and under the bed. My 8 year old noticed the bathroom had roaches in the tub as well. We didn't deal with the problem right away as we had to get to the park ...

A Memorable Vacation!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/03/05
Hotel was located right near all the action. It was a short walk to the monorail, but by no means an inconvenience. Our room was in an excellent location (6th Floor Sierra Tower overlooking the pool). We took full advantage of the Peter Pan pool and jacuzzi. There is also another pool with a sandy beach and play area too and life jackets ...
The Disneyland Hotel shares the same name as the Resort it is so close to-that is the first tip off to it's greatness. Although it is on the expensive side for hotels I recommend splurging on staying here at least once during a visit to Disneyland.
The bang you get for your buck at the Disneyland Hotel is from its many amenities. First ...
We loved to stay Concierge class, as it has a bit more magic. You get breakfast, movie rentls and a private elevator to the Concierge room. Breakfast and snacks, turn-down service and of course a private check in are all a part of this. It saves time from waiting in line so you can do the fun things like play in the wonderfull neverland pool, or ...
The Disneyland hotel was a wonderful place to stay. The hotel's location is very close to the Downtown Disney and the tram is easier to get to the park. The hotel is brilliant I enjoyed the little touches that makes Disneyland what it is. We stayed there in July and we enjoyed ourselves so much we are going back in October. Fun. My son is one ...

As a kid I would visit Disneyland and wish we could stay there, but we could never afford it. As an adult, I decided to splurge and take my husband (Grumpy) and two kids (6,5)and stay for five nights. It was a dream come true for me, husband not so impressed. The kids favorite part was the pool. I loved the convenience. The room was okay, ...

"When you wish upon a star..."
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/01/05
It had always been a dream of mine to stay in the Disneyland Hotel, and this June, of 2005, I was able to do it. It was worth the wait. My husband and I took his sister and her 3 year old son. We shared a room in the Sierra Tower with two queen beds, and a sofa sleeper overlooking the pool. I was worried it would be cramped, but there was ...
Although the three towers which make up the Disneyland Hotel were built in the 1960's, they are exceptionally well maintained and very comfortable. Because this property is older than the newest Grand Californian Hotel, the room rates are 10-20% less than the Grand Californian, and offer near equally exceptional access to Disneyland and ...
