Our stay was pleasant, everyone was helpful, price is very, very, good, clean, on bus line, very short distance from Santa Monica, Venice Beach,all major points of interest. Many restaurants close by. Alot of people coming and going. I definetely would go back again.

I have to first start off by saying that I was told that a shuttle would pick me up for LAX. I waited over an hour and continued to call with no success. Don't count on the shuttle. When I checked into my room, there were ciggarette burns in my blanket and that mattress was super stiff. There were stains on the chair as well as on the floor. ...

The hotel is dirty, with friendly though overworked staff who are too busy to provide good service.

Our main complaint was that it was dirty. The outer edges of the room hadn't been vacuumed in a long time, the balcony was littered with cigarette butts, the stairs and elevator floors were very dirty. We originaly were in the motel section, which is the worst place I've every stayed. Non-smoking smells like smoking and the rooms are beat up!

We upgraded to the tower and what a difference - Cleaner and fairly modern.

Not a bad place to stay, very close to beach, airport, and downtown yet in a safer neighborhood. But I would never, ever stay in the motel section. It will ruin your stay!
