Very friendly staff. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. The fireplace is a nice touch if difficult to light in wet weather. We spent all weekend hiking on the trails and didn't use the car until it was time to go home. We will be back for sure. A really great value.

This is a extremely nice place to go on a family vacation. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The cabins,lodge,and grounds are kept extremely clean. After going the first time by last minute plans, we have made this our yearly stop when traveling on vacation.

You won't regret going here for the weekend It's romantic and wonderful!

We went to Petit Jean State Park on a last minute trip and were able to get a cabin. The cabin was really nice and clean. We had a beautiful view from the back porch of the cabin. Not a very professional staff. When I was waiting in line for registration at Mather Lodge. I overheard one of the park rangers (he was wearing a gun) talking bad about the other ranger. When it was my turn to check-in, I asked if that was normal there. The desk clerk told me that it was a long time feud between the two rangers.
This is very unprofessional and has left a sour taste in my mouth. I will not return to Petit Jean State Park.

We came to Petit Jean and stayed at Mather Lodge in 1961 on our Senior Trip from Florence, TX high school...it was wonderful, we made many memories.....so many in fact...that when my husband returned home from Viet Nam, we chose to take a second honeymoon and return...which we did...and it was just as memorable.
