There were mountains of pigeon poop on our balcony and despite repeated attempts to get it removed we had to try to ignore the unsightly and unsanitary conditions. No follow-up from engineering, housekeeoing or the front desk...manager "unavailable". A HORRIBLE experience...and we are "Gold Preferred"

By no means is this a hotel a dump. But, it needs a lot of updating: Paint job, renovate rooms with adequate bathroom space, free internet service, just to name a few. It is very conveniently located to shops, canyons, and restaurants.
Hats off to Pierre who does a superb job at the front desk.
Spacious suites, nice beds, generally very quiet, nice grounds and public areas. The ten dollar daily charge for interent service is a real negative, however, and really an out-of-date policy.
