We dropped off our luggage in the morning, for our check in later that afternoon.....Checked in, and were assigend a room. As an 'older' guest, I very much appreciated the fact that, in answer to my request, the 'music?' at the South pool was turned off for several hours one afternoon. I could then really appreciate the sound of the waterfall and birds singing. Perhaps the hotel should consider doing this more often.

Pro:Love the soft beds and linens. The shallow pool is great for letting the smaller kids play, and I can relax on the soft cushion chairs.
NEG:maids left a pile of dirty towels behind after cleaning and we had to wait a hour for the manager to get to us. PRO: they comped the next stay with a suite next to the pool, and when we wanted an extra night we paid the price of a reg room.

Where to start? We arrived at 2 a.m. and despite the late arrival we were welcomed with a smile. The rooms were very big and well lit, especially during the day.

The location is great. The pools are nice. The room was comfortable and the bedding was great. Very soft to sleep on. The service was pretty good; they just forgot to give us conditioner and extra towels each day but we hunted them down to get them. Overall a pretty nice place to stay

I have stayed at Doubletree hotels before, but this one is the best yet. They have pillow top mattresses,are triple sheeted and have down comforters instead of blankets. It is the most amazing bed I've ever slept in..and a great night's sleep is such a bonus.

Pool area was beautiful and the eating areas were well staffed and food was good. One of the nicest hotels I've been at in a long time.
