Room was huge, but I got an upgrade for being a frequent traveler. My room was a compilation of two single rooms, making a 2 bathroom suite. Breakfast was good and value for price was good. Access to a good Italian Restaurant next door, and staff said Cafe nearby was good

Horrible Hotel

Photos do not depict the actual rooms. The train whistles blew all night long. The rooms were not very clean! The area around the hotel is not very good.

Worst Hotel

The air conditioner was programed to go on & off, apparently for energy savings. All night long the AC would come on for maybe 1 minute & then off for 20 minutes. When it went on & off there was a loud clunk. When off we could hear people talking in the hall, the TV blasting upstairs, the train. I called the front desk at 4am who ...

Better than expected

The service was good; the staff was helpful. The breakfast was just right. The location was convenient for us. Room was comfortable and clean. No complaints; we would stay here again if we were in the area.
Let me start by saying the staff was very friendly. From there it goes downhill. Our air conditioner didn't work, and the front desk said none of the air conditioners worked. Each one was being replaced. They recommended that we open a window! With an open window we were better able to identify at least 26 trains that went by. Each one ...

Nice for the Price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/13/07
We stayed here while traveling through Arizona. I do admit, I have a travel coupon and saved 50 bucks, so we upgraded to a suite. I have to say, it was worth it. The hotel was older by standards, but we had two bathrooms and two TV's, living area and a very confortable bed. Breakfast in the morning. There was a pool, but we did not use it. And free internet connection! Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Very nice!
Its the cheepest hotel that I have ever stayed in but over all it was the best. My husband and I was looking for a hotel with an indoor pool and hot tub and before staying at this hotel there was one we stayed that was a little pricey and the hot tub was a big disapointment. This hot tub was nice and hot, it was like what I think a hot tub should ...

We can't wait to return

When we opened the door (which opens wide and doesn't close while trying to get your luggage in) the king suite was a surprise. We reserved our room in advance but forgot the description. Two rooms, 2 baths--wow! The rooms are large, very, very clean and well decorated. Too bad it was for only 1 night. The bed is comfortable and everything ...

You'll be sorry (& tired the next day)
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/15/05
This motel is across the street from RR tracks, and you'll hear the trains and their horns all night long. The rooms are small and the common areas are shabby. The complimentary breakfast is cold cereal, instant oatmeal, awful little muffins and bananas cut in half. This dump shouldn't be a BW. It shouldn't even be a TraveLodge.

The only place I stay when visiting Flagstaff. An older facility but very well maintained. Small bathrooms. Helpful staff. You will hear the trains. But somehow this light sleeper doesnt have any trouble. Maybe its the mountain air?
