My parents almost booked a room there, but they asked my sister (who lives in Anchorage) to check it out. My sister already knew about it and called right back to avoid it -- she said that there are 500-600 calls to the police per year for disturbances there and people have called to shut it down. It's a half block from the jail and a half block from the homeless shelter. Definitely research it in the newspaper before going there.

i did not like any thing at all about this place! bad management! the place needs repairs all over! lots of partying happening, very scary to walk around at night, windows didn't shut, electric sockets didn't work, water was dirty, extra keys were missing cause the previous people that stayed there didn't return them so someone might ...

We were in Anchorage during the "Mayor's Marathon". The Mush Inn was the only hotel available in Anchorage. We paid then looked at the room. Big mistake. We couldn't get our money back.
