Unfortunately we stayed here on a weekend with our family. Guests in a room close by had a loud party, drinking, cursing, slamming doors, yelling at passing cars, smoking and more. This went on ALL night and until daylight the next morning. We had to put a towel under our door to keep the smoke out of our room.

The rooms were very clean. the food is good, and I had a very refreshing experience with one of the housekeepers, whom went out of her way to be very helpful to my family and myself, I believe her name was Darline, she was very polite,considerate and overall just a delite, she made sure we had everything we needed and went out of her way to be helpful to us. Our only bad experience was a very rude front desk clerk.

The outlets did not work, the ceiling in the bathroom was falling down, the color on the T.V. came and went, the toilet was nasty, the towels were stained and worst of all, there were live bugs in the room and dead bugs in the microwave! After speaking to management, the best they would do is discount our room by $25 which we were told was the military rate.

Holiday Inn South is in a great location just as you enter town. Our room was clean and the FREE breakfast bar was great. The inner courtyard was beautiful.
