Cheapest motel in the area- for a reason.

Comes with a refrigerator and a microwave- but they're not plugged in. Why? There's no outlet. You have to drag it over to the bathroom to find a plug. Heaven help you if you want to close the door for some privacy. Oh, the the bathroom door was literally falling apart at the seams. Twin beds ...

At roughly the same price at the Cambridge in Coalinga proper, this property shown like a diamond in comparison. Tiny, tiny room, though-- and the ceiling in the bathroom was in bad need of a scrape 'n' paint. The pool filter seemed to be barely working- lots of debris and dead insects.

We stopped in at midnight and decided this was a better alternative to Motel 6 (which was right by the freeway). The room was ok, but it was very hot and stuffy. The A/C was turned on high all night and it never got too cool or fresh. After a morning shower, it got even more stuffy. Opening the door was the solution to cool fresh air.
