It's good, not great.I'm familiar with all four of the Black's places in the area. This one is the least for the most with respects to quality of food, service and price.
The food is good, but not great. The service is ok but again for the price, like the food it's just ok. No one there is rude but they are spacy.

won't go backOverpriced and underserved is what you get at Black's Bar and Kitchen fancy new Restaurant. While the food was OK to good, the portions were rather small and at top prices even for Bethesda, charging $4.00 for a drizzle of bernaise sauce is insulting. Watch the alcohol and wine prices. What a wonderful atmosphere, great service, and spectacular food.I recently made a trip to Black's Bar and Kitchen and had a wonderful dining experience. I went to the bar area for some cocktails with some friends before our reservation. The bartenders provided amazing martinis for us and they were very attentive and pleasant (I believe their names were Justin and Jackie?) After the cocktails, the chef prepared amazing dishes.
