my girllfrind and I traveled from alaska to savannah for the chance to see histioric buildings and people, and of course to try the food. I did a little research on the net and came across vics, so we decided to give it a try. The atmosphere was laid back, the live jazz music was good and not so loud you couldn't carry on a conversation. We ...

I really enjoyed my dining experience at Vic's. It was a rainy day in Savannah and we decided we wanted to just relax and have a great lunch. The staff was very nice and got us a table right away. I had the cheesesteak which i have to say was the best I've ever had. It was made with wonderful beef tips, and had just the right amount of ...

I ate at Vics and must say i was dissapointed. The service was bad and so was the atmosphere. The Pianaist was bad and way too loud. We couldnt have a conversation, or hear ourselves think. The food was very pricey. All we had ( 2 of us) was the Crabmeat stuffing on some kind of cheesy rice, ( it all tasted like cheese), and 1 serving of Gumbo. The ...

We both ordered burgers- they were good, but not cooked like we ordered them. Price was reasonable. View was good of river and River Street. Bartender was very attentive and personable. Overall, would recommend.

I read a review commenting on the green beans not being cooked but they had spoken to management and they were going to correct this problem. We had dinner at Vic's on Thurday night and the green beans were still not cooked. Why would they serve green beans that are still not cooked? The only thing I can think of is that they think it is ...

Had dinner there last week. Nice restaurant in old cotton warehouse on the Savannah River. I enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits, different and good. Enjoyable atmosphere with pianist adding to it. Service was friendly and good. Only complaint at our table was the green beans were not cooked as well as most Southerners like them. The manger came to our ...

Vic's came highly recommended from a good friend, while we were stationed in Iraq together, as one of his and his wife's favorite dining experiences in Savannah. So based upon his recommedation I planned a night on the town for my wife and myself during my mid tour leave. I made reservations a month in advance to ensure the ...

I had heard this restaurant was so good, and I was disappointed when I at there. The waiter accidentally knocked over a full glass of wine which spilled in its entirety down the front of one member of our party's shirt. The glass also broke on the table. He was apologetic but wanted us to sit at the same table with the glass even though the ...
