The atmosphere was quiet and beautiful. The waitress was attentive enough, but not too much. The food was soooo good! They've just reopened 4 weeks ago and if you've been before you need to return.

Overpriced pretentious little dive

Were the cook an actual chef I could see paying such prices. Also the wait staff were slow and unfriendly.

Not a first choice

I give an E for effort but unfortunately the cook-owner is NOT a chef and can't cook well. Not much came on the plate for the money.
We had spent a week at a ranch in NC and had some time for lunch before our flight out of Tri-Cities Airport. The food and environment was wonderful. The waitor was always checking on the table, which became a little much. The chef came out to the table to talk about the food preparation, which was a nice addition. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Terrible

We went for a friends bridal dinner. Service was extremely slow. Food was bad. Would not recommend it to my worst enemy. The food was cold and overpriced. Go here only if required(and even then try to find an excuse to go somewhere else) otherwise spend your money somewhere better.
The Four Winds is more than a Tea Room, it's a dining experience. Menu items are never boring repeats, there is someting new every day. I enjoy the patio seating with views of the Mountains to the South. The service is always top notch.

A Welcome Addition

The Four Winds Tearoom is a wonderful addition to Johnson City's restaurants. The menu is refreshingly different, the presentation is excellent and the cuisine absolutely delicious. Each meal there has been an experience to treasure.

Wonderful place for a special lunch or dinner--my girls are excitedly planning a victorian high tea with their friends.
