The atmosphere was quiet and beautiful. The waitress was attentive enough, but not too much. The food was soooo good! They've just reopened 4 weeks ago and if you've been before you need to return.
We had spent a week at a ranch in NC and had some time for lunch before our flight out of Tri-Cities Airport. While driving North on I-26 I noticed an interesting looking area of older buildings and decided to take a drive through looking for lunch. We went one exit North and turned around, noting the abundance of the usual lunch spots at that ...
The food and environment was wonderful. The waitor was always checking on the table, which became a little much. The chef came out to the table to talk about the food preparation, which was a nice addition. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant.
We went for a friends bridal dinner. Service was extremely slow. Food was bad. Would not recommend it to my worst enemy. The food was cold and overpriced. Go here only if required(and even then try to find an excuse to go somewhere else) otherwise spend your money somewhere better.
The Four Winds is more than a Tea Room, it's a dining experience. Menu items are never boring repeats, there is someting new every day. I enjoy the patio seating with views of the Mountains to the South. The service is always top notch.
The Four Winds Tearoom is a wonderful addition to Johnson City's restaurants. The menu is refreshingly different, the presentation is excellent and the cuisine absolutely delicious. Each meal there has been an experience to treasure.
