Their "system" of ordering might be confusing to a newbie, but they have provided me consistently good service and food over several years. Once, I was given what I think was a stale piece of pastry. It was immediately taken care of. Strongly recommended as an alternative to chain stores.
One of the things I miss most about living in Ballston Spa was my frequent visits to Uncommon Grounds. From the second you walk in and see the huge roasting machine and smell the fresh coffee beans roasting right under your nose, you know you have a little slice of heaven.
Now that I live in Southern California I am constantly searching for ...

Coofee quality is out of this world. Bagels are second to none.
This was the worst coffee I ever tasted. It had a burnt, over roasted taste to it. The service was VERY SLOW to the point I felt Ignored for the most part. The gelato was frost bitten and taste like is was laying arownd for a while. You could tell they dont sell alot of it. For a great cup of coffee try Cafe Gelato across the street next to the ...
Excellent Coffee (you can buy green beans for roasting, a bit pricey though). Good, fresh, food -including Gelato. Good service, although if you’re not a regular it can be hard to figure out how to order - and the August crush makes even the experienced testy everywhere in Saratoga. You can work on you laptop for hours in this vibrant atmosphere and not be bothered. What else could you want??

I stood at the counter for several minutes and ...

Please let me describe an unpleasent visit to your business: I walked up to the register and waited my turn, next to other people. No one was left, the clerks just looked at me and they started talking to each other, I became annoyed. I am standing there with money in my hand and they won't take my order. I said HELLO AND WAVED can you take my ...
This place would make a great sociological study: find the worst espresso possible, tart the place up as a neo-hippie hangout with appropriate paintings and other furnishings (will someone get a copy of "The Bell Jar" and casually leave it on a table?!) and then watch as legions of devotees line up for the undrinkable espresso! The coffee ...
I live in saratoga springs and my sister and I go there constantly. I'm addicted to their chai lattes, and the bagels are always fresh. The people there are always really nice and full of character too!
