  • just open up

As I walked around the grounds I decided to be more open and honest than I had ever been with Our lord. I then asked him with all my heart for his help and support. I let him know, I had questions about his love for me and even let him know I felt he had let me down. He knew I was sad and upset. Finally I humbled myself. In other words I opened ...

  • peace and faith all around you
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/12/09
I can't express enough, the wonderful feeling of peace and tranquility I felt while visiting the shrine. I walked around its beautiful property and opened my heart out to god in a way I never did before. This visit took a tremendous burden off of my shoulders. What a wonderful place to spend quality time with our holy father

I walked down to the grotto to say my rosary and while I was there I knew Our Lady was there listening to my prayers. Its been 4 days since I left there and I can assure you that my prayers were heard. God heard my prayers and placed his hands on the ones that ...

  • A great way to spend a weekend day
    By sleebeebe, 02/01/08
As the other review stated the grounds of the Shrine are peaceful and I think Catholics and non-Catholics alike would enjoy the Shrine. Best of all it is FREE! They have picnic tables and clean portable bathrooms also. Before or after you should stop by a few of the quaint shops in down town Stockbridge.

  • A must for any Catholic
    By steve m, 10/17/05
If you are a Catholic and have never been to the shrine, you should definitely make an effort. Set on an absolutely beautiful and peaceful hilltop, the shrine offers you a quiet place to pray, have your confession heard (even if it's been years), and attend Mass with the kind of reverance that is rare today. There is also a bookstore, where you ...
