First of all they shouldn't do a tour on Halloween. Our tour guide was practically running instead of walking. Quite a few people didn't finish the tour because they were tired of running and there were a few that got seperated from the group and didn't finish the tour. You couldn't here here speak. I'm pretty pissed off about the whole thing. A HUGE waste money and time!!

Our first time in Salem. Love the little town. We took the Haunted footsteps tour and loved it. Out guide was great. She made it alot of fun. No spirits though.

We had a lot of fun on this tour. It is not a tour of the city (Take the trolley for that - we did that one, too!). It is not full of authentic history. It is a ghost tour, which is what people should expect when they sign up for it. We walked around the area just at dusk and after dark, led by the guide's lantern, and each stop held an ...

With all of the tour groups that are in and around the Salem area....I'm glad we picked the Haunted Footsteps tours. Lisa, our tour guide, a local gal, was absolutely wonderful. Just the right amount of humor and a great story teller. it was the highlight of our trip.

My husband and I are planning a trip u p to salem as a weekend getaway/anv trip...I called to find out if they would be open that weekend we would be up there and the woman was so rude!! I called at 11am so i know they were not busy as of yet.... she hung up on me before I finished speaking and I am not a long winded person...!

Very educational. Not corney. Guided tour that explains the history of the building/area, phenonmenon that supposedly goes on there, personal experiences and then tourguide allows you to photograph area. The woman who guided us was very personable. She conversed with us and allowed for plenty of questions. It was nice to be able to tour Salem at night in a group. Felt a little bit more safe, then if you were lurking the town at night alone.

Definitely worth the money. Scary,fun, and informative. Lisa (the narrator) did an excellent job. Made me want to go back to the tour spots on my own to take pictures and try to capture ghosts.

Although this ghost walk does touch on the most notorious event in the City's past, the witch trials, there is more emphasis on history. The scariest part was a twilight walk past the derelict and crumbling prison. Even those not given to psychic moments could imagine the spirits of prisoners long dead trying to reach out from beyond the grave. Great guides, who tell the creepiest stories.
