The stable is beautifully run - very organized and well maintained. The horses are well trained and well kept. The trainer (Cathy Drumn) is probably the best trainer I had been taught by so far. It was a great experience and I am looking forwards to coming back soon.

Great For Younger Riders!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/25/07
Every year I've been taking my daugther down to Undermoutain Farm in Lenox, Mass for their riding camp. It's a lovely little farm set in a great little valley with a 10 min drive to "Tanglewood." Currently, she is 14 and a dressage rider after trying out jumping, but a few years back, when she was younger and just starting to ...

Its not what you think
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/04/07
Undermountain farm, at first site is a well maintained, beautiful farm. and when you ride there, yes it is a wonderful experience because you are paying for a lesson. However working there is a completely different situation and I learned that the hard way. Undermountain is extremely stingy in the way in which they spend money. It takes them ...

So Much Fun-OMG I LUV IT!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/11/06
Undermountain farm is the most fun, interactive, and learning-friendly horse barn ever! They are very good with beginers, but they don't pay as much attention to the jumpers. My favorite horse in the whole entire world once was there. His name was Maxwell. Napolian is so frisky, but so cute! Whoever lives in the berkshiers has to go to undermountain farm right away!
I had trail ride in the rain and at dusk, it was lovely. I rode Tomahawk who is legendary. Undermountain is a trusting, generous barn with well cared for mounts and experienced staff. The environs are exquistite. A delight for any equestrian.

Noah is the #1 horse!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/04/06
Well, according to my daughter, Noah is the world's best horse, and for a 4 year old beginning to ride, he is so pleasant that i would have to agree. Both the horses and instructors, especially Katherine whom we love and admire for her amazing patience and knowledge, are all are wonderful to be around. We love it there and will continue ...

undermountain is great
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/12/05
I loved undermountain because the teachers and horses are great. Also because after my lessons I get to groom my horse. It has luxurious huge barns two of them I think. Undermountain Farm is great for begginers, novices, and experts. You can also go there if you would like a pony ride or just to learn about horses.
