Couglin Saunder is a great theater. My school, Alexandria Country Day School usually performs there plays there. Last year we did "Suessical the Musical". The theater is great! Backstage is like heaven to an actor/actress. This year we are performing "The Wiz" at Pineville High School due to date conflicts. It will be performed on Feb. 22-25. Feb. 22-24 @ 6:30 P.M. On the evening of Veterans' Day, we attended the 40th anniversary concert of the Rapides Symphony Orchestra in the Coughlin-Saunders Performing Arts Center. The performances they bring here are excellent. And I know I say the prices sometimes are pricey, but we are in Alexandria, not New Orleans, but I understand they all charge the same.

These facilities are excellent. They are so nice to have, with there was more parking.

Two nights ago I attended a performance by the Vienna Boy's Choir. It was indeed world class. This in only one of several profesional touring performing arts events the I have attended since the center's opening last August. The Coughlin-Saunders Performing Arts Center has a performance almost every weekend. I already have tickets to many of the upcoming events.
