We dine at the Harvest Moon Cafe quite often and the food is outstanding. They really seem to know what they are doing, very creative and original menu. The atmosphere is colorful and the walls are full of unique folk art. The service and speed has really improved and it's great to have such an eclectic local spot in Rome. A lot more interesting than going to a chain or franchise.
Whether it be lunch or dinner, the atmosphere is great, the food is excelent, and the the service is superb. All downtown Rome, a cool, cool, old town!
The Harvest Moon is one of my favorite places in town as far as taste. The service is very slow and when there is music it is WAY TO LOUD! Its sooo loud we no longer go when there is music playing. You can't even here the others at your table talk. The service is usually very nice but sooo slow. Too many tables per server. The food is some of the best but everything else its just ok.
We enjoy eating there, but for our anniversary ordered a take out basket. Came with 2 complete meals a bottle of wine and a homemade cake for 2! Even the basket was pretty. What a great way to have great food and a private evening together. We had enough food to finish the next day. Definitely a great idea. And all this for just at $50.00.
I have never been disappointed when visiting the Harvest Moon. Having eaten there 5 or 6 times with in the last year I have been please with my food and the service each time. Whatever you do, make sure you get some of the black-eyed pea salad. It is out of this world!!
When you walk through the front door you will be pleasantly suprised! The menu has a great variety with a different flare. The wait staff is very attentive with charisma. On the weekends they have live music that will not drown out your conversation. They have an outside seating in the front overlooking Broad Street or go to the back deck for a ...
I had never heard of Harvest Moon Cafe, prior to Saturday, April 2, 2005, when I visited there for what was the first of hopefully more visits. My party of six was in downtown Rome and decided to eat at Harvest Moon because we saw the sign. It was a delightful experience. The sandwiches were great as well the pasta salad and the fries. The Key ...
Former Roman went to visit the City of Seven Hills Saturday, March 19, 2005, which included a stay at an area hotel and a highly anticipated supper with his date at Harvest Moon.
Turns out, our visit to Harvest Moon was eclipsed with the kind of attitude you'd expect to find in downtown Atlanta.
