Just to let you know - don't plan to go. They sold the golf course in 2006 and are currently building a housing development with 166 homes there.
We live down the street from this construction zone and were diappointed to learn about the building project instead of green space.

Great Short Game Course
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/14/05
I was a guest a recent member/ guest play day. The course is just coming in with thick bremuda fairways and small bentgrass greens. I really had to bring my best short game to play well on this course. After 18 we went ot the clubhouse ballroom and had a great banquet- good service and great food. I am thinking of joining this private gem in the middle Marietta.

Pearl hidden away in north Cobb

The course is interesting to play. Many of the greens are small, which requires accurate approach shots. The bentgrass greens are well maintained and very fair. The #10 green, however, can be very difficult depending on pin placement. I play a lot of courses, and Canterbury is among my favorites. This is a well managed club that is fun to play.

I'm going back.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/01/05
This is one of the older courses. Started back in the sixties I think. I thought the course had a nice layout. No mickey mouse golf holes. Keep it in play and you can score. I have played it in the Summer months and this course has nice fairways and greens. # 18 is a mean par 4. Tough
