What a great place, it is a must see. Mountain Crossings is one of my favorite stores on the planet. The historical building is nestled in the heart of the Chattahochee National Forest on the Appalachian Trail at Neels Gap. The staff know the area and iutdoor gear have one of the best selections of outdoor gear on the trail.
It is the only place where the trail actually passes through a man made structure.
It's worth the stop.
