    Beautiful setting in downtown, free parking, admission only $6 for week with viewing of 7 museum buildings which include a kids hands on learning gallery & interactive displays.
    Good for all ages.
    Costumed guides demonstrate life skills of 1800s.
    Active archelogical digs of old fort, shipwreck and other buildings at times.

    I'm really surprised by the negative reviews; we really liked our visit (this includes an 8 year old). It's only $6 for Pete's sake! They have recreated a 1800's village; there are 10 homes each from different periods and from different backgrounds you can tour through with a docent with loads of interesting facts.     Centrally located in downtown P'cola--no parking problems. Entrance fee is too much for what they have to offer, but there are occasional free days. The University of West Florida makes a big deal about it's involvement with the historic village, but there's just not much there to do or see.

    this is something you do not want to drag you r kids do. You walk areound in the heat and look at old things. This might be okay for people who arre older but ages 9-17 most likely will hate it. This is a definate snoozefest!!!

    this histoic village is well kept a place your family would want to visit with walk in exsibits and memorobelia dating back to the 1600's . a ture day of fun you can also see the way people used to live at the La Valle house come see this wonderful museums!
