I paid $200 for myself and my kids to "swim" with the dolphins and we did not see one dolphin. Our captain was very friendly and apologetic about not being able to find the dolphins, but the people that run the place wouldn't give us at least a partial refund. They shouldn't advertise what they can't guarantee.

I really enjoyed the trip. Shell island is very nice and viewing the different marine life was nice. The glass bottom was not very nice we didnt see anything but the overall trip was good.

We go on a Shell Island cruise most years while in PBC. This was our 2nd year in a row on Capt. Anderson III. Nice enough cruise, and Shell Island is totally worth going to visit! The boat was small and the "glass bottom" is really just a 6 inch strip along the bottom of the boat that you can barely see through. Most of the time the water is too merky to see anything, because the boat stirs up so much sand. Plus to see any thing you have to climb down a steep set of stairs. The island where they take you is pretty, but there is nothing there.

This was a great experiance. They did warn us that we may not see any animals but we did. Dolphins and eels,turtals, amaz. kinds of amimals. The guy doing to float by(talking about the water life) he threw out a net and came up with all kinds of stuff. crabs to sea horses, to star fish even a baby shark. it was amazing.
