Pastor Conner is "touchable" when He speaks and is an excellent teacher of the Word; in person he is cordial and very kind. The music, under the direction of Manny Garcia, is excellent. The people seem very friendly and hospitable.

What a true Christian Fellowship. If I am ever again in the panhandle of Florida, I will visit this church. The congregration of this Bible Believing Fellowship could not have been more friendly. How fortunate this congregration is to have a Pastor that sticks to the Word.

I can't believe this???? Old School, not relivant.. I know that alot of older people move to florida. But how about some new christian worship music, its still focuses on Jesus. The preaching was well scripted and did not flow, it was manuscript type preaching from a preacher book. Not birthed in his heart. I am shocked it got a raiting for a place to visit. Someone knows someone, oh, I forgot, its First Baptist, of course they had a contact.

I will have to say that the First Baptist Church was the highlight of my recent visit. The pastor, Dr. Craig Conner, is a true Southern Baptist leader. He doesn't sugar coat or glaze over the fact that if you live a sinful lifestyle you are going straight to Hell.

Before visiting Panama City ask yourself, how good is a city if the #1 attraction is a church? Its not like it's a cathedral. Im sure the church is wonderful, just do yourself a favor when considering Florida, dont vacation south of Tampa!

Great preaching/music and ministries! Truly a place of hope.

Been there 2 times over the 10 years I have vacationed in PCB. I found the church very beautiful and the music and the preaching was good also. But the visitor recognition has alot to improve on, and it may have since I have switched to another baptist church off the beach road since then. I hope so.
