Reaching out to the youth!Tomoka has traditional and contemporary services.. We attend on Saturdays where the worship and the music is geared toward the younger generations. I love it. The pastor is a no nonsense guy who will sometimes hurt your feelings by the truth he says. The fact that he is not afraid to do that draws me even closer to the church and christ! AWESOME CHURCHI have had some bad experience with Churches in the past and stayed away from them.Than I moved to Ormond beach and my parents started going to Tomoka at the time I was suffering from Fibromyalgia and was in a self pitty mode and didn't want to do anything but stay in bed.When I walked thru the doors I could feel the Holy Spirt in the room.The ...4 of 5 Yahoo! Visiting from KentuckyTomoka Christian's beliefs are totally what we believe the Bible tells how we are to live and the steps we have to take. Which is wonderful to find when you're away from home. The Website is GREAT! My only suggestion is, if there is a blended or traditional worship service, make it known more easily (phone book listing, website, ...2 of 2 Yahoo! dissapointmenti attended your church for the first time this past sunday. i was shocked and overcomed. i wanted so bad to walk out. i felt like i had walked into a rock concert. your sermon was ok but the rest was to me totally inapproiate way to worship jesus. i think he would cry at the sight. true we should rejoice in the lord but not in this fashion. ...1 of 8 Yahoo! Awesome church!Our experience at Tomoka Christian was that it is a church based on the Bible. Sermons aren't whitewashed. We felt the pastor was right on target, but modest. He didn't hold himself up as better than the rest of us. GREAT, upbeat music and the kids and teens appear to be very happy.
