Naples Zoo is unlike any other Zoo I have visited. The Zoo was built on a botanical garden, most of which is still intact, so the exhibits are built around this wonderful atmosphere. My wife and I enjoy the Naples Zoo. We now live 90 miles away and still take friends there 2-3 times a year, so we can see what is new, and to show off an attraction that will be a hit everytime. This is a great day, and lots of fun.

We've been going to Fort Myers for years and usually make the trip down to Naples and the Zoo has been one of our regular stops. Over the years, it's been Caribbean Gardens and Jungle Larry's but now its simply Naples Zoo. This year we saw their new leopard exhibit and were thrilled. My son stood face to face with a black leopard. Anyway, make sure you do the cruise to see the islands of monkeys and at least one of the shows.

The neatest thing was the alligator show where the guy feeds them and gets them to come out of the water so you can see them. We enjoyed it, but I think once was enough. I'd rather be at the beach.

Overall a nice quiet walk and the sites weren't bad, there were some renovations when i went but overall this is a good place to spend an afternoon, yes it does smell sometimes but its a zoo(duhh), they dont have running showers and soap on a rope. Loved the Zoo. Saw animals we've never heard of. A tranquil spot and great for families. The Meet the Keepers program is informative and helpful. Would recommend.

I did not like this place at all. The animals smelled horrible and the service wasn't good at all. I do not recommend this place to anybody.
