Seating in the orchestra section was the equivalent of being in the coach area of a crowded plane. There was no leg room. Our knees were wedged up against the row in front of us

10 Stars would not be enough
By patrickwowee, 02/11/07
My wife and I had Orchestra seats like in the 8th row directly in the middle of the Auditorium, I believe they were the best seats in the theatre, even better than the boxes. The music just riveted you to your seats and vibrated through the core of our being. The Phantom of the Opera brings out the genius in Andrew Llyod Webber and is a ...

The Phantom of the Opera was magnificent! The Majestic Theatre was very beautiful and ornate and it was like stepping back in time. The performers all did a superb job and I would definately go again. The costumes and stage sets were outstanding.

The Phantom of the Opera is a must-see!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/21/05
As a Native New Yorker, I have watched many, many broadway shows. By far, this is the best. Up to date, I have watched Phantom of the Opera 9 times. It just gets better and better each time. The theatre and the singers are just phenomenal. Pricing is expensive, but it's worth it!

Wonderful employees - very helpful and pleasant
By Roseann, 05/23/05
I liked the fact that coming from a mid-size Pennsylvania town the employees working there were very cordial and directed you right to your seat with ease. I would return tomorrow and the next day!
Phantom of the Opera was more than I ever expected on Broadway. I was in awe.
Beautiful theatre and people.

Mezzanine In the Way!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/20/05
We bought discount tickets for Phantom and ended up sitting under the mezzanine at the Majestic. The messanine obscured our vision so that whenever anything went on at the top of the stage we were forced to crouch down in our seats to see it.
The microphone system wasn't very good, the only person we could hear was the Phantom.
Hugh Panaro had a wonderful voice! Definently would go back to see the show with better seats!

Pure Amazement
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/20/04
I saw phantom of the opera there and wow!! The atmosphere was full of curiosity, love, mystery, and sheer amazement. The singing is so beautiful it will take your breathe away. You will catch yourself singing the songs which you have heard in the play. It seems to bring you back in time in which the play was made in Paris. I def. recommend this ...

Phantom of the Opera: Fantastic!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/10/04
I just went to see the Phantom of the Opera today at this theatre. I thought it was amazing... The acting, singing (especially the Phantom), and orchestra were all terrific, and as for the theatre, the people made it easy to find our seats and were all nice. The decorations in the theatre were really beautiful. Overall it was a very nice experience.
