We arrived in time for the most amazing Valentine's day banquet. It was a great start to a relaxed, fun week. Perfect blend of laid back and access to adventures. Ellen and John were gracious and made everything work. Our room was clean and the staff is friendly. We would definitely go back.

The employees were all very helpful and friendly. We felt very safe in this hotel.
Would have liked a swimming pool, but this is hard to find in this particular area.

We rented a house on the beach north of the Maya Beach Hotel so only went there to eat-and continued to go back to eat. The best food and very reasonably priced-the Banana Boat Sandwich is a must and my husband said the Eggs Benedict were the best he'd ever had! Dinner was fabulous too. Service was fast friendly and very accomodating! Highly recommended.

Unfailingly nice staff, and they go the extra distance to please the guests, whether it is arranging for a guide for fishing of canoeing the rivers. Will go back.
