Dining @ Buon Gusto is just like a trip to the old country. Great home made itatian just like there ancestors used to make. Relaxing atmosphere and affordable prices. Sal & Sylvia (the owners) are never too busy to come out and mingle w/there patrons. If it is not on the menu, chances are that Sylvia will be able to whip it up. This restaurant is a must visit if you are in the Brighton area.

We are regulars at Buon Gusto and we spent New Year's Eve for dinner there and it was fantastic and very romantic as always. We grew up in Dearborn and we have been on a quest for authentic Italian food. We found it at Buon Gusto. It is just like homemade Italian food right out of Italy. We enjoy the food and atmosphere very much, it is as if we are transported back to Italy.
Thank You for such a great time. Rick and Patty

We are regulars and have neither had a bad meal or bad service, which is why we keep coming back. Having lived in Italy for a number years we like the REAL Italian food served by Sylvia and Sal along with the atmosphere which is comfortable and relaxed. For anyone to say that the food is bad deserves Olive Garden and the tastless ...

Have only tried carry-out, so can't speak to the atmosphere or service, but the food is not good. Really not good. And I love Italian food.
All the sauces are very bland and oily. There's no real flavor, zip, or spirit put into the dishes - even the variety is bland. The menu is very limited and the items are very basic and boring - ...

We were regulars of this restaurant before it received its wine license, and enjoyed the food and talking to the staff. However, we were there a couple of months ago, and they now have a wine license and it's "get 'em in, get 'em out." We will not go back. The waitress tossed our bill onto the table - we were going to order ...

Walking into Buon Gusto was like flashing back to our trip to Italy last May. Everyone was very friendly and we had a great conversation with the owners who are very nice people, family run. Her homemade pastas are wonderful. If you want to experience what Rome is like both in looks and taste then you must go to Buon Gusto -Marcus

Just like going to (Italian) grandma's kitchen

You are made to feel like you are part of the family. There is something to eat for everyone. Soups are good, pot pies are great and so is the breakfast buffet that is served on weekends. Ask about their date or fig cookies, yum! I am a regular.
Very nice looking food, a little short of taste. Decor is spartan at best. With a little traffic to turn the food faster, this could be a great spot. Wi-Fi worked great, and a nice cup of coffee to go with it! Worth a try.
