Dirty rooms and hotel; nice view into the neighbor's back yards, garbage cans and alley...
Parking inadequate, hole in shower ceiling, smallest towels in the business. Wouldn't stay there again.
Great location, needs some management, bleach, a scrub brush and some cleaner neighbors.

clean adequate service, lit enclosed parking, adequate breakfast.
good overall value. Friendly staff.

This Howard Johnson's has met all my requirements for extended stay - clean rooms, excellent service, well-lit parking gararge, easy access to BART and other transportation, close to excellent neighborhood restaurants and good water-pressure.
