I happen to work at the renaissance faire and it is a blast! I have loved the faire before working there and it is a dream come true to be apart of the queen's court. (my favorite part) Its cool to see everything that goes on before ren faire even opens, the practicing, the meetings, its amazing!!!! I feel so great to see all the wonderful reviews from everyone
My teenagers and I love Ren Faire. They really put a lot into making it seem as much like you are really in that era as possible. I always catch the Royal Falconer (although he was not there this year :( ) and Moonie. Also enjoy hanging out by the castle entrance where you can have tea with the queen, or just get to know what is going on in her ...

My wife had been trying to get me to go to the Bristol Renaissance Faire for quite a while, but I had been to some locally produced renaissance faires and SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) festivals around the country before and they were generally pretty lame and hokey. I was expecting the usual menagerie of fantasy creatures and generally a ...
This puts Midevil Times to shame, truely. A wee pricey, about $19 a ticket (though they have online coupons from the website), but it is worth it! I've been 4 or 5 times. A Great day!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/13/08
I will be attending this fair for the 5th time this summer (2008) I always have a wonderful time, and wish I lived closer to it! There is so much to do, eat, and experiance. Games for kids of all ages. The staff is always "on" making sure that everyone is having a good time!
Its worth every penny. Even if you just go see it all its so worth it. From the minute you step inside the entrance until the minute you leave there is always something/someone interesting to see. What is so great about this Faire is that you can't tell the difference between the people that work there and the people that are visitors. People ...
I loved this place! Music, food, entertainment, food, all kinds of great shops, food, and a lot of very nice people who are fun to interact with!
You have to go!

This Renaissance Fair is a blast from every turn you take. The period clothes, food and games make this all worthwhile. There's the jousting tournment, Queen's parade and musicians. Tree fearies and acts. Custom made weaponry and jewelry. It's totally worth the admission price. I make my own costumes and have soooo much fun looking at ...
