I took in the show this past week and must say I was impressed by many of the entertainers. There was one man who sang He stopped loving her today by geoerge Jones, and a real pretty girl with glasses that I thought was extremely good. I would love to go visit there again But it appears to me that they only do oldies Music and I would much rather ...

  • Best all round entertainment show
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/25/08
We have visited the Victoria Theater for quite some time and find that the entertainment is excellent for country fans and more. We always have a group of 8 or more and we all travel to the Wheeling area and meet for dinner before going to the theater.
The music always has a great blend of religious, country, and old songs that almost anyone ...

  • Going Down Hill
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/29/08
Like most places in Wheeling The Victoria Theater has been on a down hill slide for quite sometime. They have lost many of the regular attendees in part because of the recent rate increase for getting in the venue, and also for moving the shows from Friday evenings to Saturday evenings. I really did not understand that move at all.
    The quality of ...

I have been to the Victoria Theater numerous times, I am a Huge fan of many of the preformers. Like Howdy Grant, Bobby Buck, and Brandon Cummings, But I especially Like The Bass Singer Russ Buchanan. He also plays Guitar and sings. He truly has a Velvety Voice that makes the girls swoon, His style is to be in comparison with greats like Jim Reeves ...

  • Best little show in town.
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/13/06
Built in 1904, the building itself is absolutely beautiful. Handcarved wood decorations, and all.
The talent of the performers is terrific.
Lots of old country and 50's rock-n-roll. "Elvis" really works the crowd. It is a very family oriented show and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.
After the show, they have a little club ...

  • A Wonderful and Enjoyable Experience
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/08/05
If you have the time, come on down to the Victoria Vaudeville Theater in Wheeling WV. During the first half of the show you are taken back to the 50s and 60s. There is a wonderful variety of performers who sing and tell jokes, mostly sing. Elvis (Earl Brown) provides the entertainment as he sings the Kings songs. The music is provided by The ...

  • A link from the past to the future.
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/12/04
It is a wonderful thing that something as beautiful as this theatre has been restored so that it can be enjoyed today as it was years ago. Beyond the physical restoration, it is alive with music and laughter. It is full of good feelings that bring happiness to people.
This is a group of very talented people and is a great place for people to perform and share their music with others.
