I have to say moving from a big city to this little town I would have never guessed that such quality existed anywhere but NY. The charm of the Smoot interior will invite you but the quality will keep you coming back to the different shows. Diversity and a love for all the arts, comes together in this wonderful package. The Smoot Theater is truly worth adding to your entertainment schedule for the entire year. It is clearly evident that very excellent planning and love of the arts is a driving force in managing the historical Parkersburg Smoot Theater. It is a lovely theater which is comfortable and safe.
