Dying MallIt no longer has Gabriel Brothers, Elder-Beerman, or Walmart, or much of anything else, except an excellent Chinese buffet restaurant. Worth the trip just for that.OVERALL

Our first experience of shopping was at what you call a "mall". It was a very poor experience. We nearly starved to death. A cheap shoppers paradiseThe Mountaineer Mall is a dying place but has Wal-Mart and Gabe's for people who like going for bargins on most items. The mall is also becoming more of a center for city offices as the Mon County Senior Center is moving its offices to the mall.
