Our church kids went on Sept 7th 2009. I was so disappointed most of the rides were broken or closed down for LACK OF STAFF so an employee stated. It was much too expensive to pay full price and not have all of the rides open for your BIG HOLIDAY EVENT! WE will NEVER waste our money if you cannot provide what is promised maybe you should have ...

it is awesome to kings island it has the best rides in da world
I grew up in Huntington and now live in Louisville. I went to CP yesterday, while visiting relatives. The park was VERY clean. The employees were friendly and the Pronto Pups were great. It's cool to see a business open after 100+ years. The admission is about $5-$10 too high, but concession prices are low. A great place to spend an ...

Save $ get season passes
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/27/08
We live w/in 20 minutes of the park and get season passes for Christmas every year (when they are around $50 each, rather than $100 each). My kids are 3, 8, and 10 and it is so much fun for them. We always have a good time watching the kids having fun. I do wish they would give their Big Dipper some care though, it looks like a disaster waiting to happen. The other rides are great.
It was horrible. It was way overpriced and most of the rides were not safe. We went during the Halloween season. There was a haunted train with people dressed up to scare you. It was not bad until one of them had a chainsaw, and ran up and down beside the train. It was a very dangerous thing to do.
While they may not have the biggest and best rides. The lines are very short and Kids can ride almost anything. Most of the folks who work there are very nice. The coasters are old and look to be falling apart. But the rest of the rides are clean and look in good shape. If you have small kids they will love it.
After reading the reviews of Camden Park on this site I almost cancelled our trip. I'm so glad we went. With 3 adults and 4 girls (11, 12, 12, 14) we had the best time. The place was clean.(Swan pond needs alittle work.) The staff was friendly as could be. Alot of them let us ride more than once without getting off if there wasn't a ...

My children had fun...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/19/06
I think Camden Park is ok for children, I went there for the first time this year and had fun with the kids. It isn't much of an amusement park but my experience there was good, and as long as my kids liked it, that's really all that matters. I thought most of the employees were nice. I would go again although I did think admission prices were extremely high for what you get.

Has Seen Better Days, but...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/11/06
...it's still a nice place to take younger children. Me, my husband, sister, son, daughter, niece and two nephews went. The kids ages ranged from 4-12 and all of them really enjoyed it. I've personally seen Camden Park during a more popular time and was most disappointed in the fact the train ride is on a much shorter track without the ...
