I am from out of town, and I feel it was well worth the trip!My daughter attends college at Fairmont State University and we needed something to do on a trip to Fairmont. We found the course to be a bit of a challenge. It was fun! The ladies working were so pleasant and we actually won a hole in on requiring another trip there in our future!

Coal Country is a great place to mini golf. It's educational and very entertaining. It's worth the price, because if you have ever gone to the beach and mini golfed it can be twice the price of Coal Country for a cheap course. I must add that the music is fabulous! Very creative course!

The place was just fantastic & really fun. There's some neat surprises not mentioned on the web site. Like a little free museum and the music which really sets the tone. The prices are unbelievably low for this day and age. Like $5 for a dozen tasty garlic wings. And these are whole wings, not just those little chicken finger type ...

This mini course is a great idea. Full of information and items actually found in coal mines. I live in Fairmont and you can see this "landmark" from I79. There is a very tall metal coal miner that spins around.. The problems with it is that it is on a hill and pretty exspensive. I think it was like $14 for me my hubby and son..

its a fun, beautiful atmosphere to see/learn what has helped build the pride of west virginians and the course and batting cages are very well kept, even stop in for a picnic
