A nice looking but tough course. A lot of narrow fairways, they need to keep a good grounds keeper there all the time. Some times the greens need work, but i always go back.
Scarlet Oaks used to be a great country club. In the early 90's there were 600 members, a tennis club, a swim team, and many great golf events. Now it is in bankruptcy, the membership has disappeared, the rangers ride roughshod over anyone that has the misfortune of playing the course. Until this place is taken over by professionals, you would be better off playing anywhere else.
Spent a New Year's Eve there a while back and it was very beautiful and the staff really took excellent care of us! Finding it after dark is difficult. We also went golfing in the summer and it was wonderful. If you have the time, it is worth looking in to for entertainment and golfing.
