The Heart of beckleyOne part of beckley thats still the same. They are remolding mainstreet Adding new bricks, Restoring the building, putting new parks down there and more.
The other thing that i love about Uptown Beckley are the things that happen like the flea market that happens ever Fri, sat and sun, the chili Night that happens in Oct and Fridays in the park. A Fun TimeBeckley's main street reminds me of an older time. It is a brick street with little shops, small eateries, and the courthouse. There's a gazebo and a penny fountain to wish on. I recommend Chili Night which is normally in October. People from all over bring their chili to be judged and you can eat samples of it.
