Upcoming SeasonThis group IS great! I can't believe I didn't discover them sooner. I attended their all-Mozart concert and it was fantastic. They just announced their 2009 - 10 season and in fact, there's even a little Mahler thrown in there! Here are the dates and programs:

Great OrchestraThis chamber orchestra is great. While you'll never hear Mahler, the ensemble's size allows it the freedom to make music in a way large orchestras can only very rarely achieve. The best in quality performanceOutstanding musicianship, direction, and good acoustics make the Sinfonietta one of the premier music experiences in the Northwest. The Tacoma and Seattle venues are both excellent, with the Rialto in Tacoma providing an excellent level of intimacy and contact with the performers.
