The bridge itself is amazing, and its trail has great places to explore including a Monacan Indian village. The wax museum is very educational and interesting. The caverns are kind of small, but still a fun learning experience. I do not like the toy museum - a lot of toys, old and not so old, that the kids cannot touch.

About 2 miles from Natural Bridge is a drive thru safari.( NOT THE PETTING ZOO- Look for signs near a KOA campground for a "Drive Thru Safari) What a fantastic time we had! You can buy buckets of pellets to feed to the animals. There were llamas, buffalo, camels, zebras, watusi... and the list goes on! All animals were extremely friendly and not at all shy about coming up to your car for food! Great fun for the family.

My wife and I went this Summer and we are going back with our Daughter and some friends at the end of October.We had a wonderful vacation with more than enough to do in the area.Highly recommend the Safari in nearby Salem.Only disappointment was the cavern not as exciting as others we have been to.
