Bella VistaArrive early,and maybe the staff will be friendly.Cabin was filthy, insects crawling every where inside,and there was a damp smell.After 5pm you can forget calling no one on duty to help.If you like to camp,this is about the same,otherwise don't stay at the Bella Vista cottage.OVERALL

Heavenly HoneymoonShadow Mountain Escape (butterfly loft) was so amazing. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. We had our honeymoon there and it lived up to EVERY expectation that we had.
The wildlife and atmosphere were absolutely calming. The butterfly loft is romantic and cozy. We spent most of our time on the deck enjoying nature. Thank you very much.1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulOVERALL

A Favorite PlaceWe loved Shenandoah River Outfitters! The people are very friendly and helpful. We had so much fun rafting down the river that we went again the next day and would have went again but it was time to come back to the real world. It was oh so much fun!!! To Much FunI must say this place has it all! My wife and friends have made many trips to Luray to enjoy this wonderful establishment over the years. The staff has been wonderful every trip. We especialy enjoy the canoeing along with the camping! If you catch the river just right Compton's rapid is a blast!

MoonShine and HorseShoesAwesome place!! Don't mind the cows around campground areas..you'll be out cold from the moonshine so it wont matter much. Great Guppy Fishing. Save the pickle juice.. you will need something to chase that moonshine down with. And if youre a true sport .. dont forget to bring your own horseshoes! The river is nice, but don't trust the people.Our river canoe trip was beautiful and very peaceful. Unfortuately, when we arrived back at our car after four hours on the river our car had been broken into; the window smashed, the car trashed, and our belongings stolen. A great trip down the riverIf you want a fun and relaxed day on the Shenandoah river, this is a great place to start. A few years ago we took a canoe trip and it was a blast. It was not a busy day and the water levels were very low but we did not get stuck (much). There are a few places to stop and swim. The Shenandoah River Outfitters staff was very nice and helpful.
