I have been a member here for 8 years. With the narrow fairways and small greens you have to be able to make shots and learn the art of playing all your clubs, it not a grip it and rip it type course its just fun to play. The greens are in better shape then a lot other local courses. If you do not like this course may you need to spend more time practicing. The people out here are as friendly as they come.
I have lived her since this course was built and seen the troubles it went thru to get to where it is now.
GREAT value, played last week while my 2 sons went to a week long golf clinic by the club pro, Had a PGA tour pro Greg Twigg there. Pretty impressive.Round was 18 dollars with a cart, early bird (8:00am)
This course has a strange history. Used to be owned by two different people, one owned 11 holes, another owned 7. The 7-hole guy went bankrupt so for a couple of years it was an 11 hole course. Now it's back to a full 18. There aren't enough courses in Chesapeake so I'm glad this one is here. It's cheaper than its neighbor course ...
